Hello, Lexington!

Good morning and welcome to LexObserver’s Friday news roundup.

Thank you so much to everyone who attended yesterday’s community conversation, and thank you to all of our panelists and partners for making the event happen! We plan to share a recap of some highlights next week for anyone who missed it.

In the meantime…we’d love if you’d take six minutes out of your day to take a survey about LexObserver that our excellent intern, Susanne Beck, put together:

Since its founding in 2021, the Lexington Observer has acted as a free and independent digital news outlet dedicated to community-based coverage of important local issues. As we move into our second full year of operations, we would like your input on our work to date as well as ways we can improve our impact and reach.

All responses are anonymous, and we’d really appreciate any feedback you’re willing to share. We’re accepting responses until Tuesday, Feb. 21!

You can click or paste this link into your browser to take the survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/lexobserversurvey

Thanks so much, and here’s this week’s news.
