Join Hancock Church for Advent! On Christmas Eve hear the full story of Christ’s birth through scripture and carols at our more traditional services at 5:00pm and 8:00pm. For our final service of the night at 11:00pm, the River Rock Band leads in contemporary takes on traditional carols. We close every service in candlelight.

Special morning worship services are Manger Sunday, a celebration with a grand procession of gifts for the City Mission Society accompanied by brass, timpani, and organ, on Dec. 4 and Celtic Christmas on Dec. 18.

Alternatives to traditional worship include Blue Christmas on Dec. 12 at 7:00pm and Worship at the Well on Sundays at 5:00pm. Blue Christmas is a special service for people who are grieving. Worship at the Well is an invigorating, casual, and personal worship space featuring multi-genre roots/world/folk music from the River Rock Band.

Hancock Church is an open and affirming, immigrant welcoming church in the heart of Lexington, right on the Battle Green at 1912 Massachusetts Ave. in Lexington, MA. The building is equipped with chair lifts and an elevator. For more information call (781) 862-4220.
