All around the world, on July 16, people will be signing The Carbon Almanac. Book signings are being planned on all seven continents with thousands of people expected to sign the book, setting up the event to be the largest most global book signing in history.

Locally, a signing will be happening at Maxima Book Center located at 1717 Mass. Ave., Lexington between the hours of 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., at Brookline Booksmith located at 279 Harvard Street in Brookline between the hours of 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., and at The Book Rack located at 13 Medford Street in Arlington between the hours of 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.

The Carbon Almanac is a breakthrough, collaborative book that offers climate science facts without the noise, confusion, or agendas – to help each of us become well-informed about climate change.“It’s time for a shared truth based on established facts,” says entrepreneur and New York Times best-selling author, Seth Godin, who organized the project. “Our goal is to start a conversation – around the world and around the neighborhood. We need systems solutions to our systems problem, and it won’t happen if we don’t connect and communicate.”
