Lexington Scouts BSA Troop 119 invites Lexington youth and residents to join the fun on March 12 at Willard’s Woods between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. for the 2023 Klondike Trek! Willard’s Woods will be transformed into the Klondike, where youth participants of elementary age and up can travel to stations along the trail to learn and try out a number of outdoor skills to earn “gold” nuggets.

Skills stations include Orienteering, Stretcher Carry, Bear Bagging, First Aid, Wildlife Conservation, Tent Raising, Knots, Fire Building and so much more! Each station will have age-appropriate skills for children as young as Kindergarten. Youth participants are invited to grab a “passport” in the Upper Field near North Street and earn a prize when they’re done. Spectators are welcome, and all are invited to join us for refreshments and fun around the camp fires. Parking will be at Diamond Middle School, and the path to the Klondike Trail marked. Youth participants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. To ensure we have enough supplies, we encourage parents to sign up in advance.
