The Boston Globe and almost all democratic representatives have endorsed Mara Dolan, a public defender, for Governor’s Council, a post most voters aren’t aware vets judges, parole recommendations, and commutations. This is the reason people simply checked the governor’s council box for the incumbent, Marilyn Devaney, who after 25 years in this post, has demonstrated her anti-abortion stance. Or they checked the incumbent democrat without realizing who Devaney was. Today I received in the mail a card from Marilyn Devaney saying “Please judge me on my achievements and not on my opponent’s false accusations.” Don’t believe Devaney. Believe the Globe, which cited her false accusations against her opponent multiple times, both in this election and the last. Please vote in the September 3rd primary and vote for Mara Dolan.
