Lexpress is Lexington’s local public bus, open to people of all ages and abilities. The service has been operating since 1979 as a “flag” system, meaning that rather than set stops, you can board or alight pretty much anywhere along the route. To board, simply wait along the route and wave to driver. To get off, pull the cord on the bus as the bus reaches your destination.
