On Sunday, November 6th, the 27th Annual GenesisHR Battlegreen Run will be held in Lexington, starting and finishing at the LHS Field House. At noon, Todd Angilly, soloist for the Boston Bruins begins the event with the National Anthem and musket fire from the Lexington Minutemen send the runners on their way.

The GenesisHR Battlegreen Run provides a platform for non-profit organizations to raise money, including:

- Supportive Living, Inc.
- The Birch House
- Vineyard Havens
Habitat for Humanity Greater Boston, Genesis Community Fund of Lexington, Joslin Diabetes Center, MGH Cancer Center, Pauline Briggs Scholarship Fund, Multiple Myeloma Research Center and the Turner Syndrome Society receive proceeds as well.
Post-race, participants are treated to food and beverage courtesy of many local restaurants. Given that more than 1,000 are expected, volunteers are needed! Those wishing to help should send their name, email address and cell phone number to robertjburbidge@gmail.com.
