With deep love for this town and great gratitude, I am delighted to announce my candidacy for the soon to be open seat on the Lexington Select Board. I would be honored to earn your vote on Tuesday, March 2, 2027.

My husband Jeremy and I met walking home from Diamond Middle School, and today we are raising our children here in Lexington, where we both had the great fortune to grow up. I do not take this town for granted and am ready to serve our community in this larger role.

Lexington is entering a period of significant growth as the new MBTA-overlay housing and new high school take shape, all while towns across Massachusetts face real fiscal pressure. My priorities are to:

  • Welcome new neighbors and make critical decisions about expanding our services and infrastructure.
  • Protect a level-service school budget despite the challenges of inflation, rising healthcare and special education costs, and shrinking federal funding. I will partner with our financial committees and School Committee to find fiscally prudent solutions.
  • Make it easier for residents to find information, understand how town processes work, and how their tax dollars are spent.
  • Advance our climate goals through electrification, safe multi-modal transportation, tree and resource protection, renewable energy, and waste reduction. Sustainability is fiscally responsible and good for public health.

I make decisions based on what is fair, and I will never lose sight of the fact that my job is to represent the residents of Lexington. As a parent of school-age children in the Lexington Public Schools, I bring an everyday perspective that isn’t always present at the Select Board table. I will hold weekly office hours, because good government starts with people feeling heard and understood.

It has been my honor to bring my organizing and leadership skills to turn good ideas into real results for our town. I am committed to thoughtful, intentional policies that support all residents, workers, and visitors in our town, especially those who are too often marginalized. Treating every single person with respect and fairness is one of my core values. I have worked to build our community for many years, and am prepared to take on the challenge of serving Lexington as a Select Board member.

This is a pivotal moment for our town. We need leadership that is ready to meet that moment.
