We’re looking to fill vacancies on a number of boards/committees.

Serving on a Town board/committee is a great way to:

  • Get involved in the community
  • Meet your neighbors
  • Share your expertise
  • Help make decisions that make Lexington a great place to live, work, and visit

The volunteer committees in Lexington are vital to the delivery of Town programs and services. They provide a rich source of knowledge and expertise, expand the town’s ability to research issues and best practices, and enhance the communication between residents, Town staff, and elected officials.

We’re always looking for volunteers, both to fill vacancies as they occur, as well as to put on our list of potential volunteers for future vacancies.

Most committees are appointed by the Select Board, but some are appointed by the Town Manager.
