Senator Friedman will be speaking about the work of the state legislature with special focus on how the state legislature is dealing with current challenges brought about by federal changes to abortion regulations, reduction in research funding, vaccination requirements, etc.

This program is the sixth in the 2025-2026 LWV Forum Series to promote understanding of public policy issues. We expect Lex Media will record the program for future viewing. There will be time for Q&A after State Senator Friedman’s comments.

The League of Women Voters is a non-partisan organization dedicated to the principles of self-government established in the United States Constitution.
