Pruning is more than trying to follow a few diagrams in a book. It is first a thinking activity and then a physical activity. Learn how Master Pruner, Christie Dustman, thinks about her pruning work so that you can start to think first and cut later. We will begin by covering the proper tools for the job and then actually prune branches of different plants that members provide. Christie will speak about her thought process and generalize these thoughts and techniques to similar types of plants. Pruning is more than cutting: a thought process first, then action.
