Dashing Rock Celtic Trio opens Hancock Church’s Candlelight Garden Concerts series with evening of traditional Celtic music on Wednesday, July 8th

Hancock Church’s summer concerts in the Memorial Garden return this July for a second season. These are magical evenings of live music in this beautiful and intimate setting. Tickets are just $25 or “pay what you can” and can be purchased on our website, hancockchurch.org/events.
The first concert, July 8th, is Dashing Rock Trio. Based on the isle of Nahant in Boston Harbor, the trio explores the music of the Celtic nations and beyond with varied instrumentation, including fiddle, nyckelharpa, flute, whistle, guitar, accordion, Scottish smallpipes and voice. Elizabeth Ketudat, Dave Cabral, and Sarah MacConduibh have performed together for decades in multiple ensembles. They bring their deep friendship and experience to Dashing Rock’s unique sound, a blend of tradition with fresh interpretations.
The trio performs at festivals, concerts, and private events, as well as intimate venues. Whether on a grand stage or a cozy local venue, Dashing Rock brings vibrant energy and rich tradition to every performance.
Hancock Church is wheelchair accessible, as is the Memorial Garden. There is ample parking, including ADA spots in our back parking lot and on Massachusetts Avenue.
