Each year on Patriots Day, the Lexington Lions Club presents the White Tricorne Hat Award honoring an outstanding resident of Lexington. Nominations for the 2023 White Tricorne Hat Award are now open, and the Lions Club is asking for nominations from the public. The deadline for nomination is April 7th.

The 2022 White Tricorne Hat award was presented to James (Jim) Shaw, publisher of Lexington Times (formerly Colonial Times). 

The candidate must be a current resident of Lexington who has demonstrated a dedication to the community by giving their time and talent selflessly over the years. The award is made without regard to gender, race or religious affiliation. The recipient must not hold major elective office and past winners are not eligible.

Nomination forms are available at www.lexingtonlions.org, and the following locations: Lexington Community Center, Michelson’s Shoes, Lexington Coin and Wales Copy Shop.
