Tell us a little about yourself. You can include your personal background, family, outside interests that are important to who you are as a person and a candidate.
I have lived in this town for 41 years and I am a recently retired technology professional. I brought up two wonderful children in this beautiful town and have long valued the strong sense of community it offers. Throughout my career, I have led and managed technology projects, developing strong skills in analysis, collaboration and thoughtful decision-making. I am committed to giving back and contributing in ways that strengthen our town for residents of all generations.
Why are you running for Town Meeting?
Now that I am retired, I am eager to give back more to the community in a focused and intentional way. Serving at Town Meeting feels like a very meaningful way to contribute.
On a large project, a peer manager wanted to implement the entire solution at once, while I recommended a more incremental approach. After listening carefully to his perspective, I shared the risks and benefits of both options and invited broader team input. Through respectful discussion, we agreed on a phased rollout that reduced risk and allowed for adjustments along the way.
What is the most important issue in this election to you personally, and what ideas do you have about how to address this issue?
Accessible transportation is especially important to me, particularly ensuring that our senior residents can easily get where they need to go. I would like to explore on-demand or flexible bus service options that improve reliability and independence for those who rely on it most. Evaluate our current service and how to improve it. Once the discovery process is complete we could do a pilot, minimum viable product (MPV), and show proof of value.
