January 8, 2026 (Lexington, MA) The Community Endowment of Lexington (CEL) is pleased to announce we’re opening our grant application process on January 14, 2026.
Community Endowment of Lexington, an endowed fund of the Community Foundation for MetroWest, promotes a spirit of philanthropic giving to support organizations that are working to create solutions for current needs and that are implementing new ideas to improve Lexington for the future.
The Community Foundation for MetroWest is the only community foundation serving 33 cities and towns in the region.
All applicants must have: a) 501(c)(3) tax status as a registered nonprofit organization or have an eligible fiscal sponsor or be a Town of Lexington department, board, or commission; b) a grant proposal that solely or predominantly serves Lexington residents; and c) focus its mission and programming in the areas of arts and culture, health and human services, community building, and/or the environment.
Applications open Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at 9 AM and are due February 13, 2026 at 5 PM.
