On December 6, 2025, CAAL held its Volunteer Appreciation and Awards Ceremony at Hastings Elementary School, celebrating service, gratitude, and community spirit. Despite the suspension of the President’s Volunteer Service Award, CAAL launched the Community Volunteer Service Award (CVSA) to continue recognizing meaningful volunteer contributions.
Community leaders delivered heartfelt remarks highlighting youth leadership, compassion, and responsibility. Over 40 young volunteers received Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards, contributing a total of 1,445.5 service hours. The ceremony featured music and dance performances, creating a warm, joyful evening that honored dedication, inspired future service, and strengthened community bonds.
