On November 19, 2025, Din Check Band released their newest song Haseen Khwab—a composition where soulful music, a touch of jazz, rich poetry, and vibrant visual art blend seamlessly into one experience. This song marks yet another beautiful milestone in the band’s creative journey. Din Check Band has been spreading the essence of Indian and fusion music for nearly two decades.

The lyricist of this song, Poppy Charnalia, hails from Lucknow, currently a Lexington MA resident. She is a visual artist, published poet, and songwriter. While residing in the United States she continues to nurture and advance her deep connection with the Hindi language, poetry, and art.

In Haseen Khwab, her contribution extends beyond the written word—the music video showcases her vibrant paintings transformed into clothing worn by all the musicians. This unique concept turns the entire video into a living, breathing gallery.

Exquisitely composed by Meenakshi Kulshreshtha, the song is adorned with the melodious voices of two singers—Meenakshi’s seasoned, expressive vocals paired with emerging artist Preanshi’s modern, bold voice rendering Haseen Khwab a new dimension.

Along with her vocals, Preanshi also serves as the co-lyricist, and her writing reflects a touching blend of youthful boldness  sincere emotion.

if you want to understand how enchanting there music is.
I’m probably not so well connected to local performances, but I’d love to hear them live (perhaps on a warmer day than today) in Lexington. I suspect I might have missed them at PorchFest. Maybe next year?

    1. Of course, I meant to type: “understand how enchanting their music is.” I listen better than I spell…
