Many people choose to live in Lexington, MA because of its proximity to Boston. Nearby technology firms—from the MIT Lincoln Laboratory to biotech companies like Agenus and the Takeda Pharmaceutical Company—have also attracted business and technology professionals, many of whom have moved to Lexington in the last decade, according to Census Bureau data

Lexington offers a variety of amenities, including the nearby Minuteman Bikeway and a recently remodeled Town Center. The Town Center includes a variety of restaurants, coffee shops and historic sites.

Lexington’s top-ranked schools and award-winning teachers have also attracted families with children. The new high school is set to be the most expensive public high school building in the country—which may attract even more residents.
