I wanted to bring attention to the need for more accessible fitness programs in our town, especially for teens and young adults. Not everyone can afford a gym membership, and there aren’t many free or low-cost options to stay active.

It would be great if the town offered more community fitness classes, open gym hours or outdoor workout areas. Promoting physical health helps prevent bigger issues down the road, and a healthier community benefits everyone.

Thanks for taking the time to consider this.

  1. I believe our community center has a gym open to all residents. I am not sure what the hours are, but it’s always been open when I went by. There is also a ping-pong room. Then consider the open track in the center fields, available to all when not being used by the track teams. There’s also the fitness path around the Lincoln fields. Our bike path is a great place to walk, run or bike. We actually live in an amazing town for this.
