Voices on the Green, Lexington’s live music and storytelling series, returns to First Parish in Lexington on Friday, April 4, at 7:00 PM, for an evening focused on the ways in which people broke away from the life they had known and discovered new ways of living and being. A group of engaging storytellers will share experiences from their lives—some heartbreaking, some celebratory—that contributed to their decision to break away from what they had known and move toward a sometimes uncertain future. Admission is free, but reservations are strongly recommended: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSd850xQyo8JG8VSNrYlWrmtxrwIoJweK1Ymp5KX08CaRuwGqQ/viewform
Storytellers are Lorenzo Ezio, Paul “Del” Delmonico, Cantor Louise Treitman, Tish Callanan, Chris Hurley as Robert Douglass Jr., and Deborah Jacoby-Twigg. Poet and spoken word artist Regie O’Hare Gibson will host the evening; music will be provided by Cantor Louise Treigman, tenor Tim Jacoby, and LHS graduates the After Times Jazz Trio. Voices on the Green is a Lex 250 partner and receives generous support from the Community Endowment of Lexington. For further information visit voicesonthegreen.org.
