Girl Scout Troop 83234 is all in on composting! As their Take Action Project, this group of fifth-grade Junior Girl Scouts is getting the word out about the benefits of composting food scraps and promoting Lexington’s free curbside compost program.
On Friday, November 22, the troop presented at an All School Meeting at Fiske Elementary School, encouraging their classmates to start composting at home.
They will also be out in the town center on Saturday, 12/7 selling cookies and talking about composting. Buy some cookies and sign up for free curbside composting!
