A big shoutout to our dedicated green team volunteers for their incredible efforts! On September 25th and 26th, our 7th graders stepped up during Back to School Night at Clarke Middle School. They bravely engaged with parents throughout the building to promote Black Earth Composting. Their persistence paid off as they encouraged many to sign up for more information about this valuable composting program. Composting plays a vital role in reducing waste, and in Lexington, it operates efficiently. Our Lexington public school system is already participating in this initiative, and we encourage you to join in as well!
For those interested in learning more, please visit the Black Earth website. Thank you to all the parents who signed up! We hope our message resonates further, inspiring even more families to take this small yet impactful step towards helping our planet and our community.
