“World Peace,” an art exhibition opening Saturday, September 7 at TradeCenter 128 in Woburn features award-winning works from local XC Art Center students and their vision for peace within and among all people and nations on Earth.

The display showcases 85 student works from the recent NY OCIYAC (Organizing Committee of the International Youth Art Competition). Curated by acclaimed artist Xiaowei Chen, the exhibition area is divided by age groups and includes a video reel of XC Art Center teachers.

Twenty-five Lexington students are participating: Leon Aksenov, Beryl Chen, Erica Chen, Nuo Cheng, Emily Fan, Yihan Fang, Chelsea Guo, Ethan Ji, Jocelyn Ji, Abigail Li, Elaine Li, Yueming Mei, Estella Mo, Arica Shi, Allison Song, Jonathan Sun, Ruby Trinh, Adalyn Wang, Eric Xie, Yu Yang, Jerry Yu, Meimei Zhang, Ada Zhao, Xiaoyan Edmond Zhuo, and Xiaohan Charles Zhuo.

The free exhibition, located at 300 TradeCenter, Suite 1500, launches with an opening show from 4:00 to 6:30 PM and will include a dance performance by Angel Dance Company. The exhibition is open to the public from 12:00 – 2:00 PM from Monday, September 9 to Friday, September 13. It is also open by appointment.
