Did you know that a core component of LexFarm’s mission is our commitment to feed those in need?
While LexFarm, a nonprofit farm located at 52 Lowell Street, Lexington, cannot cure food insecurity, we offer local residents with low income the opportunity to access healthy, nutritious food year-round.
LexFarm grows food for donation (10,000 pounds in 2023), subsidizes CSA vegetable shares, offers farm-fresh produce year-round through the Healthy Incentives Program (HIP), and a match program for SNAP participants, (which effectively doubles the purchasing power of participants).
Our goal is to raise $10,000 in individual donations. We have $3,000 so far. Please help LexFarm meet our hunger relief goal in 2024.
