At LexFarm, we are dedicated to nourishing our community and fostering a sense of dignity and belonging for all.
Food insecurity affects nearly 18% of households in Massachusetts, with many families struggling to access nutritious food. LexFarm is committed to reducing hunger by growing extra vegetables for donation and partnering with local organizations like Food Link, Lexington Food Pantry, and Arlington Eats. Last year, we donated over 10,000 pounds of organic produce, ensuring that no fruit or vegetable went to waste.
Our subsidized CSA program ensures that community members in need receive high-quality produce at a fraction of the regular price.
The Healthy Incentives Program (HIP) in a year-round farm store, makes fresh produce accessible even in winter. And, our new Match program doubles the purchasing power for SNAP recipients, encouraging healthy eating habits, which is supported by a generous donation from Cambridge Savings Bank.
