A Collective Journey Exhibition @ The Munroe Center for the Arts

Facilitator: Judith Cooper

Participants: Ronnie Gould, Suzanne Grey, Hans Heilman, Susanna Natti, Sarah Springer & Wayne Wylupski

The core participants in this group have been meeting together for 12 years with some joining more recently. For the first year, each participant started with the Archetypal Figure Workshop which laid a foundation of trust and honest introspection. The group meets for 12 3-hour sessions that occur approximately every three weeks between fall to early summer.

The focus is on giving each individual an opportunity to grow through her or his art in a
safe, supportive, and sacred space. Momentum is maintained through critiques, presentations of personal work, and images of new artists worldwide. This serves to foster an open dialogue from content to intent and the imaginative use of materials. Creative, dyad, and group processes are also utilized.

Over the years we’ve experimented with different themes and/or assignments. Presently each participant is working on a chosen direction with the materials of their choice.
