Waking up at 5:00 am for the annual reenactment of the Battle of Lexington can be a heady experience, with costumes, music, smoke and fire, illuminated by the early light of dawn to transport you to that morning in April, 1775.

For people who might rather stay in bed on a holiday morning, you can catch the equally thrilling Battle at Tower Park at 4:00 pm on Saturday.
