Calling Former Drum Majors!
Jeff Leonard, active performer, arranger, and conductor, will be the Grand Marshall for the 2024 Patriots’ Day Parade. He is looking for former drum majors to march with him that day.
Jeff was the LHS director of bands and the jazz program from 1983 to 2017, and acting coordinator of Music Education from 1988 to 1990. Since 1990, Mr. Leonard has been the conductor and contractor for the Reagle Players in Waltham. Since 1997, Mr. Leonard has been the music director of the Lexington Bicentennial Band. Groups in Massachusetts, Virginia, Indiana, and Maryland have commissioned his compositions and arrangements. He has been a guest conductor with bands, orchestras, pit orchestras, and jazz bands around New England.
