LexPride is proud to focus our attention on social justice issues of all kinds. This year, instead of hosting our annual candidate forum on social justice, we asked candidates to submit answers to two questions:

1. Why should people who care about social justice vote for you?

2. An office-specific question: For Select Board candidates, how can Select Board members hold the town accountable to its equity and inclusion resolutions? For School Committee candidates, why do you support or oppose the Serious Talks curriculum? For Planning Board candidates, why did you support or oppose last year’s Article 34, and how does your position promote housing justice?

LexPride has posted candidates’ responses to the March 2024 Election page on our website. We encourage Lexington residents to read the responses to learn more about the candidates.

Sincerely,

Valerie Overton, for the LexPride Board of Directors
