Precinct: 7
Tell us a little about yourself. You can include your personal background, family, outside interests that are important to who you are as a person and a candidate.
I am a current Town Meeting member with a mix of both member volunteer work and volunteer leadership that have taught me the value of collaboration, lifelong learning and striving for better community. My work history as a corporate compliance and ethics officer has meant leading with integrity, honesty and an understanding of both human motivation and group dynamics. Soccer has been a constant in my life since I was a child, and it is how I met my husband, first made friends when I moved to Lexington, and is now a bonding activity for our entire family. It has given me the opportunity to be a teammate, teach, coach, organize and give back to the next generation. For me, being in Town Meeting means continually learning about our collective values as individuals, as neighborhoods and as a town, and helping the Town reflect those values in its goals and operations.
