Patriots’ Day weekend is a grand time to ask your friends to join in this weekend-long family-friendly celebration.

From April 15-17, there are concerts, road races, pancake breakfasts, ceremonies, Paul Revere, and reenactments culminating in the big parade.    
 
This year, the Town will offer additional programming aimed at children such as craft decorating, face painting, and balloon twisting. There will be a family-friendly movie selections on Lexington Visitor Center Lawn shown on a 16 ft state-of-the-art screen, and live music performed by local talent.

10 A.M.-2 P.M.—Children’s activities: face painting, balloon twisting, ornament decoration
 
Sunday, April 16
Visitor Center Lawn, 1875 Mass Ave

4-7 P.M.—Children’s activities: face painting, balloon twisting, ornament decoration and live music
7:30 -9 P.M. Disney’s “April Morning,” a 1988 movie based on Howard Fast’s book, starring Chad Lowe, Tommy Lee Jones and Robert Urich
 
Monday, April 17 
7:30 A.M—Sunrise Youth Parade
Starting at Munroe Cemetery driveway, proceeding west along Massachusetts Ave through Lexington center onto the Battle Green. Free
