The Association of Black Citizens of Lexington (ABCL) presents the Billy Kilson Quartet in a tribute concert celebrating legendary jazz drummer Alan Dawson.

This spring’s must-attend jazz concert features multiple Grammy award-winning drummer Billy Kilson on April 1 at 7:30 p.m. in Isaac Harris Cary Memorial Hall, 1605 Massachusetts Avenue Lexington, MA 02420

A pre-concert discussion will begin at 6:30 p.m. with Billy Kilson and John Ramsay, the former head of percussion at The Berklee College of Music, who studied with Alan Dawson, Max Roach, and Art Blakey. 

The Lexington High School Jazz Combo will open for the Billy Kilson Jazz Quartet. 

Tickets are $25 each; proceeds support ABCL scholarships.
