Voices on the Green

Voices on the Green, returns on Friday, Feb. 3rd, at 7:00 p.m., with stories and music sharing perspectives on moments of life lost and found. Musical performances provided by Jamie Willis and Kelly Rice, real-life partners who love to sing together.

The stories are compelling and varied: a father and son compare their feelings on retrieving a lost item. A homesick immigrant must find a new direction in her new country. A Kenyan woman finds the inspiration to escape poverty in a common object.

We are honored to partner with and support Household Goods of Acton, which serves roughly 2,500 families and provides 60,000 household items a year, free of charge, to help make homes for the recently unhoused, survivors of domestic violence, refugees and immigrants, and the otherwise impoverished.

Kids and teens can join Music Therapist Hilary Bennett and First Parish’s Director of Religious Exploration and registered yoga teacher, Robi Rose, for a fabulous youth program. Participants will use music, storytelling, improv, song-writing, art, yoga, and dance to explore this month’s theme, “Lost and Found.”

Beverages and conversation before the show and at intermission. First Parish in Lexington, 7 Harrington RoadTickets: $10/$20
