Welcome to the official launch of the new church program year at Hancock Church! Join us for Celebration Sunday at Hastings Park (on the corner of Massachusetts Avenue and Worthen Road in Lexington) on Sept. 18 at 10:30 a.m. This is an outdoor, intergenerational worship service with music from the Chancel Choir and the River Rock Band, a multi-genre roots/jazz/world music rock band. Rev. Dr. Barbara Callaghan, the first woman Senior Minister in Hancock Church’s 154-year history, preaches the sermon. Bring your own chair (and some sunscreen) and grab a brown bag lunch and stay for a picnic after the service. There will be after church activities for kids as well.

Celebration Sunday will be broadcast live on LexMedia (RCN 3/HD613, Comcast 8, Verizon 35) and youtube.com/HancockChurch.
