First Parish in Lexington is excited to share its September schedule. Always a favorite is the Annual Ingathering Service on Sept. 11. Meet Robi Rose, our new Director of Religious Exploration, and hear our renowned choir directed by Rip Jackson.  Rev. Anne Mason will offer a message to connect us spiritually, and together we will participate in our traditional Water Communion. Please bring water from your travels, from a favorite lake or stream, or even from your kitchen faucet.

To whom do I belong? We are always a part of something. We want to belong… somewhere. We cannot exist in complete isolation. Within the sacred community, first we must explore the eternal question: “Who am I?” And then, just as importantly, we must ask “To whom do I belong?” Rev. Anne Mason leads this thought provoking service on Sept. 18.

How can love work? It is our promises to each other which bind us together in community. Rev. Anne will lead congregants in exploring the power of the covenant as it shows up in Unitarian Universalism in the past, present and future. Join us on Sept. 25 as we see how love in action will guide us.
