Youth Counseling Connection Presents Break the Silence Event (Friday May 3, 2024)

The Youth Counseling Connection, a local mental health counseling non-profit organization, is hosting an event featuring a panel of teens sharing their experiences with mental health. There will be a slideshow presentation about important topics in the world of mental health, as well as a question and answer session between the audience and the panel. This event is intended to provide parents with insight into being a teen in Lexington, and how parents can better support their children when it comes to stress and mental health. Students and parents are welcome to attend. In addition to the panel discussion, poetry, artwork, and prose submitted for the Break The Silence: Youth Creative Submission Contest will be displayed for the community to enjoy, and contest winners will be announced.
