U.S. Premiere of Documentary ‘Hope’ at the Capitol Theatre

June 18 @ 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm EDT
$15

Join community members for the exclusive U.S. premiere of Hope, a powerful independent documentary exploring the resilience, daily lives, and profound human stories of refugees who have fled to Uganda to escape the civil war in South Sudan. Rather than viewing the circumstances through a lens of tragedy, the film highlights their aspirations and hopes for their futures, as well as an enduring desire to see justice in their homeland.

The June 18 screening at the historic Capitol Theatre marks the very first time the film will be shown to audiences in the United States. Following the film, attendees are invited to stay for an interactive discussion and Q&A with our guest, Mr. Brian Adeba, a former refugee from Sudan and now serving as Advisor, Sudan & South Sudan at The Sentry. Early registration is highly encouraged due to limited seating at the historic venue. Ticket sales proceeds will be used to help South Sudanese refugees and displaced persons.
