The Road to Peace – a Collaborative Jewish-Muslim Discussion

The Road to Peace will be hosted by Know Your Neighbor Woburn in collaboration with the Islamic Council of New England and the Boston Workers Circle Center for Jewish Culture and Social Justice — Thursday, June 20 at 7:00 pm at the Woburn Public Library. The panel and community conversation will feature Jewish, Muslim, and Christian thought leaders and peacemakers in a moderated discussion and community conversation of justice and peace for the people of Israel and Palestine.

The event will feature regionally and nationally celebrated panelists: Ms. Asima Silva, Co-Founder, EnjoinGood; Mr. Martin Bentz, Retired Senior Administrator for United Nations Peacekeeping Operations; Dr. Jon A. Levisohn, Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Associate Professor of Jewish Educational Thought, Brandeis University; Dr. Yaser Najjar, Professor Emeritus, Framingham State University; Rev. Ashlee Wiest-Laird, Pastor, First Baptist Church, Jamaica Plain, MA and Rabbi Brian Walt, Co-Founder: Rabbis for Human Rights-North America. The panel will be moderated by Rev. Annie Gonzalez, Minister of Faith Development, First Parish, Bedford, MA.
