Former LexFarm Farmer Allison Ostrowski will be leading a workshop in the Learning Garden. Learn all about starting veggies and flowers from seed. Choose your own unique varieties and gain skills and confidence by doing it yourself!
We’ll talk all things seed starting. From seed sources and heat sources to watering and potting up. We’ll have a hands-on demo, and you’ll bring home your choice of planted seeds to nurture and plant in your garden.
Allison Ostrowski managed the greenhouse at LexFarm for five years before leaving farming in 2025. She learned a lot from the farmers before her and hopes to help as many folks grow their own food as she can!
