Save Lexington Wildlife at LexART

This will be a fun evening with a variety of experiences. You will be able to view photos of local wildlife, hear about the rescue of Owen the Owl, learn about local environmental groups and opportunities to get involved, visit with local wildlife rehabbers, and socialize with other activists.

There will be a live bird of prey at the event with an opportunity to meet this owl up close and ask questions of its handler.

Your ticket will also include admission to the LexART Animal House exhibit. Humans have been responsible for the degradation of our environment and the destruction of so much natural habitat. This exhibit gives artists a chance to try and give back to nature, craft novel wildlife housing, and provide new habitat, while showcasing their artistic creativity. Works will be practical to conceptual and will include insect, bird, and bat houses, and wintering shelters for local mammals.
