Open House at Artist-in-Residence Sandra Mayo’s Lexington Studio

Art lovers: Take home a piece of the farm to enjoy throughout the year. Visit Sandra’s studio to view original prints from which she created her “Two to Flower” large scale installation, on display in the LexFarm flower field through October.

Join us for refreshments and a demo of Sandra’s process for creating her mix media prints.

Sandra explains that “the farm has become a sacred and healing space for my soul, particularly during the pandemic”. She will discuss how the imagery was inspired by the farm and also by a popular Paraguayan folk tale.

The prints are available for sale in her studio.

This project was partially funded by the Arlington Cultural Council. The remaining support will come from the sale of Mayo’s art displayed in the farm store and in her studio. For more information, visit sandramayo.com. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to LexFarm.
