Munroe Center for the Arts and Friends of Lexington Bikeways present the Second Annual Bikeway Block Party

The second annual Bikeway Block Party, on Sunday, Sept 14. from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., is a vibrant outdoor festival all along the Minuteman Bikeway with a wide variety of interactive activities and musical performances, including dancing, yoga, arts and crafts, and more! Anyone can participate and it’s all free! Park locations along the Bikeway in Arlington, Lexington, and Bedford will host a variety of performances and activities: In Arlington at Whittemore Park, and Uncle Sam Plaza; in Lexington at Bow Street, Tower Park, Emery Park, and Revolution Hall; and in Bedford at the Bedford Depot. 

The event offers family-friendly activities with an art station and giant bubbles at each park, and an assortment of interactive performances including yoga with harp accompaniment, BollyX dancing, and sea chanty singalongs, as well as some great bands: reggae, brass, classic rock, and more!
