Living Well with Parkinson’s Disease with Anne Muskopf, OTR/L
October 3 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Over 90,000 people are estimated to be diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease (PD) in the US this year, so chances are good that you know someone who has been affected. The 2023 Emmy nominated documentary Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie has illuminated the courage and strength present in the people living with the disease from day to day. Many people associate PD with having a tremor but it’s a much more complex disease with many symptoms being invisible, and it changes over time. How can someone with PD live well, and how can you as a friend or family member support them?
Anne Muskopf, veteran Occupational Therapist and Director of the Charlotte & Richard Okonow Parkinson’s Family Support Program at Jewish Family & Children’s Service in Waltham will present a practical and holistic approach to living well with Parkinson’s Disease.
