Lexington Pops Chorus Open Rehearsals
September 12 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Sing With Lexington Pops Chorus in its 42nd Season
Lexington Pops Chorus is holding non-audition, open rehearsals for potential new members. Two free
open rehearsals will be held Tuesdays, September 12th and 19th at 7:30 pm in Clark Hall, Hancock
Church, 1912 Massachusetts Ave, Lexington. Singers must be able to read music.
Now beginning its 42nd year, the chorus enjoys the enthusiasm of members from over 15 area towns.
We sing a wide variety of music, including classical, Broadway, jazz, folk and gospel.
Our winter concerts on January 19 and 20, 2024, will be dedicated to Bob Lague, who directed the
chorus for 41 years since its inception in 1982. The program will feature Gabriel Fauré’s “Requiem,”
Randall Thompson’s “Alleluia,” “How Lovely is Thy Dwelling Place,” by Johannes Brahms’ “A German
Requiem,” “Goin’ Home,” adapted from the Largo of Dvorak’s “New World Symphony,” and more.
Support for the 2024 Winter Concert is provided by a grant from the Community Endowment of
Lexington, an endowed fund of the Foundation for MetroWest.
Lexington Pops Chorus is a member of The Boston Choral Consortium.
