
Lexington-Based Pernambuco Chamber Ensemble performs in Lincoln

The Lexington-based Pernambuco Chamber Ensemble will be performing on Saturday, November 18th at 7:30 P.M. at St. Anne’s in-the-Fields Episcopal Church, 147 Concord Rd. in Lincoln. Their program, Falling Into Place, will feature Gabriel Fauré’s Piano Quartet #1 in C minor, Mozart’s Sonata #26 in Bb major (K378) for violin and piano, and a premiere performance of Bach’s Cello Suite #1 in G major arranged by the ensemble’s cellist for viola and cello duo. The music will be performed by Shirie Leng, violin, and Lexington musicians Jessica Baum, viola, Judith Glixon, cello, and Daniel Goodman, piano. Admission is free. A suggested contribution of $20 at the door is requested, a portion of which will be donated to IPCI-USA (International Pernambuco Conservation Initiative-USA) through the International Alliance of Violin and Bow Makers for Endangered Species (www.alliance-international.org).
