LexCAN January Community Meeting: A Clean Energy Future Depends on Fixing the Grid- How Do We Accomplish This?

Please join us for our guest speaker Larry Chretien, who will focus on how to modernize the electric grid to utilize renewable energy like wind and solar.

Larry Chretien is the Executive Director of the Green Energy Consumers Alliance, whose mission is to harness our power, as energy consumers, to accelerate the transition to a low-carbon future. Larry is also on Massachusetts’ Grid Modernization Advisory Council which reviews and provides recommendations on the state’s electric-sector modernization plans.

There will be an opportunity to ask questions like:

“How does the electric grid work?”

“How can we make a difference in speeding progress for our clean energy future?”

“Are electric utilities properly incentivized to promote renewable energy?”
