Where’s the Bus?

The League of Women Voters of Lexington (LWV) is announcing the start of the First Friday Series for the year 2025-26, beginning on Sept. 5, 2025, from 9:30—11 a.m. in Room 237 at the Lexington Community Center.

Discussion will focus on public transportation in Lexington with transit information about Lexpress, its history—current and future—and the MBTA, new routes, including Sunday service.

Speakers will be Susan Barrett, Transportation Manager, Town of Lexington, and Sandy Johnston, Deputy Director of Regional Transit Planning for the MBTA.

This program is the first in the 2025-2026 LWV First Friday Forum series hosted by the League of Women Voters to promote awareness and understanding of public policy issues.
