Kiran Ahluwalia in Concert: The Sound of Contemporary India

2-time Juno Award-winning artist Kiran Ahluwalia celebrates the release of her new album Comfort Food with a special full-band concert presented by Lexington Community Education. Receiving a 5-star review in the Financial Times, she is in “top form” on this first release in six years. Making modern Indian songs influenced by blues, rock, jazz, and Punjabi folk, the Indian-born, New York-based artist confronts virulent ethnic nationalism with songs about liberation, love, and the common humanity we all share.
