Indigenous Peoples Day Celebration

Long before Lexington was Lexington, Indigenous communities lived here for thousands of years—join us for a free day celebrating Native American culture and history. Start with a guided walk of the Lexington Paint Mine from 9–10 AM, then explore the Lexington Depot from 10 AM–4 PM and an outdoor cultural festival in Emery Park from 12–4 PM featuring Native artists, music, dance, and family-friendly crafts. Created in partnership with Native Americans in Lexington and supported by the Community Endowment of Lexington and Pamela Fowler.
