Hanscom Air Force Base Holiday Tree Lighting

Hanscom Air Force Base invites nearby residents to join us in celebrating the holiday season at a tree lighting on Dec. 4 at 4 p.m. During the event, Col. Taona Enriquez and Chief Master Sgt. Alan Weary, installation commander and command chief, will be joined by Santa Claus to officially light the Hanscom AFB tree. Off-base attendees must access the event via the Sartain Gate off of Route 2A/Hanscom Drive and present a valid driver’s license or state ID upon arrival. Attendees will then be directed by Hanscom AFB Security Forces personnel to reserved parking and the tree-lighting location outside the base chapel. Prohibited items include weapons of any kind, illegal drugs (including marijuana), large backpacks, coolers, chairs, drone aircraft, or any type of propelled item capable of being airborne.
